Wilder is flat out refusing to fight and blaming it on VADA. They said no such thing. He has no legs to stand on.
^^^100% truth^^^ wilder never wanted the fight. He's breathing a sigh of relief

Because he's seen the wbc top 10 and knows he can cherry pick for another year until cashing in against Joshua or Fury.

Team wilder saw a opportunity and jumped at it

No the 'postponement' is only to give the sanctioning body time to investigate the issue, if the investigation confirms that the guy really is juicing, then fight gets cancelled.

Wilder's team already believed Povetkin was juicing so there is no doubt in their minds that the investigation will yield positive results and Povetkin will get banned along with the fight getting cancelled.

He definitely wanted his 5 mil and would've walked through Povetkin to get it.

Holy ****, I was beginning to think NSB would never get any story correct.

Finally, someone posts something accurate enough.

This is the truth. If Povetkin is found innocent--- that he took the Meldonium only at a date prior to January 1st, Wilder and Team are going to be susceptible to a lawsuit for canceling the fight/breach of contract, I'm assuming.

An important piece of information that could help this go Povetkin's way is whether or not the testing Povetkin passed in early April was blood or urine based. If it was blood, it means Povetkin has a chance at being innocent (go research the differences and uses of blood vs urine testing). Now of course, even if it was a blood test, it still doesn't mean he can't be guilty. He could have very well taken the Meldonium after said passed tests (which would be ****ing ******ed).

Either way, give it time and let the WADA figure the entire truth.

YES, they have to investigate the scenario because of what I said above. Meldonium is said to remain the in body for 6 months. Hence, why it isn't an open and close shut kind of case.

Since when has this been a "protocol"?

Povetkin is a slow walking fat body. There's a reason why he was cheating. He knew he had no chance in hell against Wilder. Now you can try and spin it against Wilder but it's not working.

Peterson failed the B sample before it was announced and called off.

A test isn't offical until the B sample is tested or the athlete asked for no B test.

It's a bit strange how quickly they flew home and started saying the fight was off and they wanted their money. The fact is, this case is under investigation with the outcome still to be determined. The WBC will have to get the scientific evidence and prove that he took meldonium after Jan 1st to call this fight off. If Povetkin can prove he hasn't used after that date and just had traces in his system 5/6 months later (which is likely after reading about the drug and what the manufacturer has said) then it will be a postponement and the fight goes on.

They have already gave passes to other athletes testing positive, Sharapova's hearing is in London today I believe? I could be wrong but it will be interesting to see what precedent they set with her case...

Still doesn't sit well with me knowing these people are using PED's whether they are "legal" or not. I was going with Povetkin but I hope the fight goes ahead ext couple months and Wilder decapitates him
