Liam Smith vs Kell Brook makes a lot of sense. Both are trying to move to the next level in popularity and neither currently have big name opponents to do so.


Steve Kim mentioned that he heard Liam Smith and his JMW WBO title were an option for Canelo. Canelo/Smith is not a fight that excites me.

If Brook can't fight Vargas he might as well go for this fight, becoming a 2 division champion would add some credibility to his record.

Called this Months ago, like I said Brook will NOT fight Eroll Spence Jr he will drop the IBF Belt and will move up and fight Liam Smith which will be a big fight in the UK

If he can't get a big fight at 147 why stick around? Might as well move up especially if he has no plans to comeback to the US at this time. I think Hearn wants to establish him into a bigger star in the UK and make UK the new Mecca of boxing because if he can do that then he and his Dad will make More Money. How is Kell going to get out of this? Liam all but called him a dirty name, lot's of gentleman there. No need for transatlantic tickets, no cheap hotel rooms, and I bet Liam will do it for a lot less than 13 million. From the sound of it, he'd like to do it in a alley for nothing.

Brook should maybe take the fight and become a 2 weight champion, if he struggles to land that big name. But, yeah, it's not a fight that excites too much.

That said, i'm never confident in a Hearns Vs Warren fight coming off.
