I wanted to see the povetkin fight, maybe down the road if povetkin can prove that he isnt a dirty cheat. But the problems still there, wilder still hasnt fought anyone, he cant keep getting in there with dead weight, and with a lot of guys tied up with fights i fear a match with a guy like helenius or something. Knowing Haymon we might see wilder in there with a blown up cruiserweight.

He is a big risk but he's also a big name on the resume and a big draw in his home country.

This would be a hell of a fight and a great replacement for Povetkin.

I doubt there's a credible last minute replacement for Wilder to fight, but he should try to get a big fight within the next 2-3 months. Maybe even sooner, if possible. It'd be nice if all of his recent training doesn't go to waste.

                What about Shannon Briggs ?

What about Shannon Briggs ? He has no Opponent this Weekend.
We could see if Wilder is a real champ and can perhaps stuff the mouth of that numbskull Briggs. That would be an interesting fight, indeed. I remember the pounding Briggs took at the Hands of Vitali Klitschko. Yes, he was hospitalized with a lot of damage, but he didn't go down.

I thought Briggs was fighting on the Haye card this weekend

What would give you the impression Haye is ready for a Wilder fight himself? He's fighting Ahnold Gjergjajajgajagjaja next after his epic showdown with the great Mark de Mori and then is supposed to fight Shannon "the 400 year old cannon" Briggs next.
