I hope people actually look up what Meldonium actually does before accusing Povetkin as a steroid cheat.

It was an over-the-counter product in Russia until randomly getting banned after having been legal for 50 years. Not everybody is up to date with whatever has been banned by a drug testing company on the other side of the world.

Does it enhance the performance a little bit? Yes. Does creatine and other types of supplements also enhance performance? Sure.

Does it enhance the performance anywhere near to the extent of steroids? No, not even close.

A bunch of ****in hypocrits. For 45 years it isn't cheating. Now all of of sudden it's cheating , like the substance has changed. And with a less than minimal trace in the blood, Povetkin would be on the down side of whatever tiny benifits the drug had. All you self righteous pricks get caught doing things you frown upon all the time, and you hold your head down when u do get caught because your sneaky little mutha****ers. I would go ahead with the bout, a d when Povetkin loses, it will be proof that so called adhancers don't always mean your a better athlete. Clean living, eating, sleeping, thought process are the real components of superiority.
