The fact is even Khan's father said he would make more against Brook. It would be a huge stadium fight and PPV in the UK.
The problem is that even though it's a very good financial fight for Khan, the cost of losing to Brook on that huge stage is huge too.
I think it will happen, there's nobody else at 140-154 that will make a big money fight for Khan outside of Manny, Floyd and Canelo. Fighting Canelo was a good move. Paid very well and no damage to his reputation by losing and can keep the Brook fight on the backburner.
It will happen. Too much money in it for it not to.Comment

It's true that he needs to stop only thinking about Khan and start setting up some decent fights against good opposition. But, despite that, I think Brook is the best welterweight not named Mayweather or Pacquiao, and that will be solidified once he does get those better matchups. Timing beats speed; Kell beats Amir.Comment

Khan wants no part of Brook and comes up with BS reasons not to fight him. Why should Brook who is an undefeated world champion have to earn a fight with Khan who hasn't been a champion for 4 years and just suffered his 3rd KO loss? Khan has never defeated a welterweight as good as Porter. Brook is Khan's biggest money fight. Khan turns down this opportunity to become a world champion and the best welterweight in England if he wins. I think he is afraid of losing so he won't fight Brook. Brook is his same weight so he wouldn't have the excuse of losing to a bigger man that he used for his loss to Canelo. I am sure Brook's next fight will be with a top welterweight. If Brook wins Khan still won't fight him. Brook has been trying to get Khan into the ring with him for about 5 or 6 years now. Khan will never fight him.Comment

I like Khan but this is pretty much spot on. Fair, Kell may not have as many big names on the record as Khan, but Khan hasn't been a top shelf fighter for a while and Kell is on the way up looking good.Khan wants no part of Brook and comes up with BS reasons not to fight him. It is ironic...The way that Khan says Brook needs to win a big fight and get recognised, when that exact fight that Brook needs, comes from none other than Khan himself.
I am sure Khan knows this, and I agree with you.Comment
