    Robert De Niro lit up the red carpet in Cannes on Monday where the world's top film festival was to give a special screening of his new boxing movie in the evening. De Niro, 72, is being honoured in Cannes 36 years after his Oscar-winning performance as self-destructive boxer Jake LaMotta in Martin Scorsese's 1980 classic "Raging Bull".

        I am definitely looking forward to this flick, wonder how deep they get into Duran's coke abuse between the two fights. That post win celebration tour is the stuff of f'ing legend out here.

                    Duran, my all time favorite. At his best he was unbeatable. so agressive and smart at the same time. He didn't need to fight at such late age or certain weight divisions but he did. This man had balls. No catchweight BS.
