all were products of their era, were the most loved and hated, transcended sports, and had the best resume of their eras.

talent based mount rushmore.......Ray Robinson, Roy Jones, Leonard, and Mayweather...all 3 were the best all around fighters of their era.

Ali, Robinson, Chavez Sr, Duran. Each is a great representation of boxing, it's diversity and important figures in the sport. Ali for what he did for boxing and the U.S. Robinson for the pure talent/skill. Chavez Sr contrasts in style with the other two while displaying an unreal will and being in the zone for like 90 fights and for being an icon in what's basically one of boxing's most important countries/culture. Duran just goes without saying. A non American or Mexican legend who could box, come forward, or destroy...all while displaying enviable skill and instinct.

That's mine. Nice diversity and pretty much covers like 50 years of boxing
