These are the types of rules boxing needs IF I was the boss!

      -one champion per division
      Obviously

      -only 10 weight division(105,112,118,126,135,147,160,175,200, & Heavyweight +201)
Don't hate this, but I'd cut the bs with all these random numbers & bite MMA's style & go with:

      265, 205, 185, 170, 155, 145, 135, 125 & 115. Who wants to see any mongoloid bigger than 265 fight & who wants to see some 105lb child-size man fight?

      -no catchweights for title fight
No planned catchweight fights, title or otherwise, but if you come within 1-3lbs, spread out from smaller to bigger weights, for non-title fights no harm no foul.

-same day weight in(4 hours before the actual fight)
I'm not a fan of weight cutting at all & you are always going to have guys weight cutting unless you do something new. So I'd do something new. When you got your license to box you'd be assigned a accepted healthy weight range where you'd be allowed to fight at. This would be determined via some BMI-like equations that also used hydration levels & gravity tests & all those fun lil weight science things to pinpoint a reasonable healthy weight. No more weight cutting. Everyone would be more or less fighting at their walking around weight.

      -standard 18×18ft ring
      That works.

-mandatory champion vs #1 contender once per year(if negotiations fall #1 contender vs #2 contender fight for the belt)
If I'm running **** I'm making all the fights anyway so mandatory isn't really gonna be much of a thing anymore. My champion would be fighting the previous 1 vs 2 guy & the 2 vs 3 guys would be scheduled to fight for the next title shot. We not f#cking around.

Thoughts? What are some changes or new rules or technology does boxing need?
      -Instant replay as mentioned
-Complete restructuring of the judging system where the judges are judged & not as many own bifocals.
-24/7/365 PED testing with aggressive & progressive punishments
-Every year we have a giant super event the day before the Super Bowl in the same city as the Super Bowl
-We sign up Michael Buffer for life & make infinite clones of him for events in different cities/regions/countries & for future generations
