IF somehow they actually managed to work out a way to fight and arent just using this as publicity for the both of them then you KNOW it is simply a prearranged cash grab. Period. McGreggor has as much of a chance at beating Floyd at boxing as Floyd has of beating McGreggor at MMA. None. I wouldn't be surprised if they choreograph the whole fight to try and make it look interesting. Either way, IF it happens it is only to take the money of ****** people. Period.

I'm guessing Mayweather spoke to McGregor behind the scenes. I doubt the fight takes place and suspect he is just creating a bit of hype.

He did mention promoting mma fights so the association can't hurt.

Because the Fertita's have been looking to sell the UFC, and make a move into the NFL. This event attracts enough casual spectators to find an investor to unload Zuffa off unto. Plus losing against Mayweather in a circus show event hardly kills his MMA stock.
