I think that will not be a smart move given Cotto's last few fights were above 147. Danny is not the greatest welterweight, but he's no pushover either.

It's a good match-up to make Cotto look good because Kirkland is pretty much finsihed and would get KO'd. Kirkland should retire but would not turn down the fight because of the pay check. If they pick Kirkland I hope it backfires and Kirkland somehow shows up for one last fight and knocks Cotto the f*uck out.

I learned my lesson the hard way when it comes to Danny Garcia! He burned me twice. He's one of those guys who seems to ALWAYS fight up to his competition and unfortunately down as well...Still it would be an AWESOME fight!

If they fought in NY on June 11th would be FREAKIN cool for Puerto Ricans. The day before the PR Parade.
