Be kind of cool to sit in on the phone/online negotiations and se how this is going to play out. Seems like the pressure is building in Canelos head and he knows it is now time to step up to his mandatory or step aside and hand over the belt. Stepping aside and relinquishing the belt will look weak to his fan following, and he knows it. Canelo also realizes a fight with GGG will have a big impact on his career should he accept the challenge,....and a possible loss (in all likelihood) will set his career back somewhat. He's still young with a lot of years ahead of him, but he will have to rebuild his credibility and take on 'lesser known and up and comer' fighters with non-ppv fights. At this time, a rematch with Mayweather seems redundant, and a possible fight with Pacquio is an absurd idea to begin with. This fight needs to happen. Canelo has had plenty of time to prepare himself to fight a true MW at 160 and he has squandered those opportunities. If he wants to weigh in under the full MW limit, then that's his prerogative, but this catch weigh BS is almost as ****** as a the notion of a pacman fight. Alvarez is in the hot seat right now, and he is running out of option and alibis,.......and deep down he knows it.
Hombre up Canelo,...your destiny,.....or destruction awaits.

So when Nelo gets stopped will Nelo admit he himself must be a bum as wel just like all of GGGs other victims?
If GGG beats Canelo, Canelo's resume will still be better

Golovkin would beat him. Not sure if he would stop him though ginger boy is quite sturdy.

You guys should give more credit to Ginger Boy.

Ginger faced better competition P4P wise.

When Ginger face B and C fighters like GGG has been doing, he also stopped them : Baldomir, Kirlkland, Angulo.

Ginger won decisions over Lara (controversial), Cotto or Trout.
Those guys might outbox any opponent GGG faced as a pro.

So overall, I would say we don't know how GGG would react facing someone with solid skills like Canelo or Lara as a pro.
So I wouldn't be so sure about GGG outboxing easely and so beating down Canelo like he did to Stevens.

The question for Canelo is more on an athletic/size point, he has been fighting good skills in Cotto, Lara, Mosley, Khan but we din't know how he would react facing a strong and compact 5"11 160 pounders chasing him for 12 rounds and landing at some point on his chin.
