POLL: Will Kell Brook duck Errol Spence and vacate IBF, after beating Vargas?

Kell Brook and Eddie Hearn promised everyone a superfight. Now I know that Jessie Vargas holds a belt, and he is a solid competitor, but a good fight for Brook would have been against Timothy Bradley, an elite level fighter to prove that Brook is indeed World Class, and live up to the World Title that he holds.

Eddie Hearn is an absolute c+nt, unlike Kell who is actually deep down a nice guy, and a masterful boxer, who has mastered all the basics through putting in the hours in the gym, who for too long has missed the opportunities to become great, because of his promotor Eddie Hearn, who for whatever reason doesn't believe in him and is fixated on keeping Kell unbeaten till the inevitable clash with Khan. This lack of confidence has sadly brushed of on Kell, who should never have even accepted a fight against Frankie Gavin. It just isn't what World Champions do, after having such an easy string of mandatories.

I actually believe that Kell Brook beats Vargas, and in fact beats Errol Spence Jr, because frankly, Kell is the better all round boxer.

    The big question is:

Will Kell Brook vacate the IBF after he has beaten Jessie Vargas for the WBO, and duck Errol Spence Jr, or will Kell Brook defend his title and not shy away, and live up to be a true unified world champion?

Yes, Kell Brook wants no piece of Errol Spence and will therefore duck & vacate.

No, Kell Brook doesn't duck anybody, and he will defend his World Titles against Errol Spence

That's his only claim to fame. He will only drop that belt to fight a big name fighter.

Lets hope he does. Spence seems to be the next great black american hope on this board.

I think he should stop chasing after Khan too, he needs to aim higher than Khan instead of chasing after a fighter who has been knocked out 3 times already. Needs to go for someone better than Porter, not any worse

Bradleys wife/boss man wont let him fight Brook. Pathetic. Can't blame Hearn for that

I don't think Brook would drop a world title to avoid Spence but I do think Spence is the best welterweight in the world today and will beat Brook or any other 147 pounder. I think Brook is one of the best welterweights in the world and he will beat most other welterweights but not Spence. It's not that Spence has beaten anybody that good because he hasn't. It's the way he destroys lessor fighters that impresses me. His hand speed, accuracy, power and work rate are all excellent and he is a great body puncher. His defense and punch resistance seem very good so far. He easily blasted out Algieri in a few rounds and Pacquiao and Ruslin couldn't do that. Spence has a good killer instinct and he is a great finisher.

I have a hard time rating Kell Brook because he doesn't fight in America. You can't be ranked top 10 P4P if you're not fighting the states. Especially at WW when all the best WW's are in America.

When Errol Spence becomes mandatory challenger I want his team to avoid making a deal and immediately head for that purse bid and have him come to the States to fight.

The States is where it matters. It doesn't matter anywhere else.

The only exception to this is the HW and CW division.

I feel like Hearn is looking at an exit strategy for Brook in general or at 147 so I wouldn't be surprised if Brook gets cashed out or moves up before Spence becomes in line for the title. Too much risk for too little reward or at least thats what I feel things will look like for Hearn & Kell in about 9+ months when they are looking at making a date with Spence.

Duck? No this word is getting thrown around too much! Not only that but we're all hypocrites because today we want guys to step up then tomorrow we're asking them to fight top prospects and young contenders who haven't done much themselves.

Also Spence Jr vs Konstantin Ponomarev already been ordered by the IBF so Spence already have his next opponent! If he wins he gets his shot! I been saying for months that Kell Brook is likely going to move up to 154 very soon anyway. I think he will target Liam Smith so that he can stay fight in the UK but at least that would be a Name Opponent for him to fight in the UK

Smh....... Bradley said he wants to face Brook. It won't matter because Vargas stands s good shot at beating Brook. He's been fighting too many fans since he got that strap, he's ripe for the picking.
