    Kid Gavilan vs Floyd Mayweather

How does this fight play out?

    At welterweight obviously.

I think Gavilan would be too much for Floyd to deal with. Floyd doesn't adjust well enough to beat the super aggressive Cuban Hawk with the Iron chin.

He would only face him at the end of his career not a prime version of course

So once again a thread about what said fighter would do to Floyd but never about what Floyd would do to them

Floyd is a great fighter. The best of this generation but he is not a natural welterweight. His best weight is lightweight - to junior welterweight. (136/140).

Floyd would be a big underdog against a Tommy Hearns or a Sugar Ray Leonard or any ATG welterweight.

Floyd is the best of his era but no way does he beat the ATG Gavilán at welter.

Gavilan was a fighting whirlwind of skill with an ATG granite chin. He would **** Floyds **** up big time.

Bringing up his chin is near pointless, Floyd is not going too be aiming to knock him out and Gavilan didn't have any exception power to speak of, hard fight too come up with a result though.

Give your outcome of this match up.

I have Gavilan totally outworking Floyd. Over 15 he stops Floyd on his feet late on in the fight.
