Froch v Groves 2, had a total revenue of £22,335,000, and this was with Carl Froch getting paid £8,000,000 and George Groves getting paid £2,000,000.

Carl Froch despite holding the World Titles, George Groves was the favourite to win the fight. The controversy of the first fight, meant that pretty much all of the UK casual general public knew about who Froch and Groves are.

With Brook, he isn't a household name, with a little over 200,000 people in the UK staying up to win his World Title against Porter. He hasn't done much since then. The guy got stabbed and no one on the street knew or cared, and it didn't even get the media coverage. But lets forget about Kell Brook, and how well known he is for 2 minutes.

Froch got paid £8 Million, which was 35.8% of the total revenue.

Khan vs Brook is expected to sell just as many tickets, at a higher average ticket price of £110 vs £78. The PPV price will go up to £24.99 for the fight as opposed to £16.99, and the TV money from the US is expected to be 3x more then the Froch vs Groves 2 fight.

This puts the total expected revenue of the proposed Khan v Brook fight to be around £38,700,000, including sponsorship, hospitality etc, ppv sales, tickets etc.

So if we were to give Amir Khan 35.8% of the total revenue, just like Eddie Hearn paid his own fighter Carl Froch, that puts Khan's purse at £13,854,600 which translates to $19893820, so just under $20 Million Dollars.

Eddie Hearn offered Team Khan $10 Million dollars, take it or leave it, when he paid his own fighter Carl Froch $11.49 Million dollars, in a fight that is expected to eclipse the Froch v Groves 2 revenue.

If Eddie was to be honest with Team Khan, and tabled an offer that is fair, just like he perceived Froch v Groves 2 split to be fair, then this fight would be made in a heartbeat.

Eddie was only willing to give Khan £5million because giving Khan more would mean he would have to take a cut

I think Khan should get at least £8 million

The rest of the money leftover would be split between Brook and Hearn.

Its a shame Hearn turned down the fight, he is greedy beyond belief. He stood in the way of Brooks dreams.
