Lol @ these desperate fools pretending the names on these two lists are comparable. Guess what guys, everyone's laughing at you for pretending you believe that.

    (1) Gennady Golovkin – 6
    160lbs: Lemieux #4, Murray #4, Geale #5, Macklin #6, Proksa #9. 154lbs: Rosado #10

    (2) Saul Alvarez – 5
    147lbs: Khan #3, Lopez #8. 154lbs: Lara #1, Trout #2. 160lbs: Cotto – Lineal Champion

By all means, stand behind your man and speak good of him, just choose a better argument than this fool's logic.

The joke is that he fought:
Khan #3 at ww, not a mw. At mw he wouldn't even be top100.
Lopez #8 but at 154. At 154 he had no business at all.
Lara #1 and it was an horrible close fight.
      Trout #2 close fight legit.
Cotto lineal champion, are you kidding me? Cotto was not even a MW, he won the title from an injured man who still have pain when walking.
      Got EMBARRASSED badly by floyd.

The good thing is that you're not mentioning Kirkland... that's good. Tired of reading that shiet.

WW's are not better than MW's... it's just that the WW division is more marketed.

Cut all the fancy, dishonest, sideways means of looking at it and just look at the value of the opponents. You're creating smoke and mirrors to hide what is a simple, honest truth. This is NOT an argument GGG fans should be pursuing, it makes you guys look like you're intentionally dumbing yourselves down. There's such better ways to argue the GGG vs Canelo angle, why pick this loser of an argument??

If you only count Lara and Cotto it's still better than Lil G's entire resume.

*The world rankings of the four major organisations (IBF, WBO, WBC, WBA) do not accurately reflect who the best boxers in each weight division are. Case in point: arguably the five best heavyweights in the world – Klitschko, Wilder, Ortiz, Fury and Povetkin – do not feature in the IBF heavyweight top 10. Therefore the Transnational Boxing Rankings have been referred to in this article.

Some weird haters (and Canelo) keep claiming that GGG has a bad resume and there you have it. He actually has the best resume of all active fighters.

Now dont even start arguing that Canelo knocking out old and small Cotto or chinny Khan is more impressive than GGG stopping Lemieux and Murray.

Also you can check out the latest Fight Game with Jim Lampley, he has GGG on #1 P4P now.

THe whole notion that GGG has the best/toughest resume since his HBo debut is so ridiculous it's not even worth debating, it's moronic that some even believe this

That's the problem with 85% of GGG fans around here, they praise him like he's white Kazak Jesus reincarnated here on earth KOing P4P competition while he's ending world hunger and contributing to world peace. It makes it hard being in the 15%.
