Wasn't Manny supposedly improved after beating Bradley and knocking down Algieri 6 times, I believe Floyd was next right? Wasn't Hatton supposedly improved when he stopped Castillo, the guy who gave Floyd problems? Floyd next right? Wasn't Mosley better than ever when he detached Margarito from his senses, Floyd was next right?
Wasn't Cotto and Oscar suppose to be too big, too strong at 154? Floyd was next right? Alvarez would get the same schooling from Floyd he always got! Don't let Amir Khan laying on the canvass blind you!

I think Canelo would be more aggressive and force the action more. I don't know if that would be enough. A lot of it would depend on the weight. I don't think Canelo can make 154 again and I don't know if Floyd goes up in weight for anyone.
I give Floyd props for that fight, he took Canelo to school.

He has improved vastly. Not a 100 times over however. Floyd has nothing to fear. Canelo won zero rounds their first fight. He would win up to an including three rounds. That's about it.

No he didnt. Khan literally had one of the worst offensive production numbers of his entire career. Never outlanded canelo in any round of the fight. Was on pace for less then 100 punches landed if the fight went 12 rounds. Only landed double digits 1 round of the 6. Landed exactly 48/166 for 28% connect rate before he got KOd.

Khan landed 218 punches against algieri for comparison to how much his avg connect rate fell off a cliff against Canelo.

I don't see it and I like Canelo and he is still a damn good fighter but he struggles with styles that EVERYBODY STRUGGLES WITH even Legend like Chavez Sr, Bernard Hopkins and many other legends struggled with. Quick guys are hard to time and hard to cut the ring off against that doesn't mean Canelo is not good and can't go on to be a Great Fighter because he struggles with that style!

compa that guy is an armchair boxing fan who relies on the compubox stats way to much. he is not a TRUE boxing fan. its good to see that some people like you can use some plain and basic common sense and see that canelo toyed with khan before making his life flash before his very eyes.

I doubt size would make difference unless mayweathers legs are completely shot. Canelo doesn't move his feet any faster than the first time they fought and still likes being set before he puches. If canelo was quicker on his feet he'd be a much more dynamic fighter...even early in the khan fight he was making defensive moves and coming up way short with his counter shots. He relies on his opponent being there to land.
