    Will Floyd regret his comeback?

It's becoming more apparent that he's coming back, check the latest fighthype videos if you doubt it.

In spite of the huge money he'll be getting, as a man approaching 40, I think he may go out in embarrassing fashion. Seems like very view boxers walk away on a high note .

No. He needs the money to fund his promotional venture. It's obvious he dreams of becoming big in that area. He wants Schaefer.

To think that the Wadell investment is down to 82M out of 521M means you have to have truckloads of money to have a chance of making it.

Boxing is TBE's life. You can see him with his mouth wide open when he's watching fights where TMT logos are all over the place. The Mayweather/Schaefer alliance is inevitable.

I don't think so. He'll fight Garcia / Pacquiao / Canelo for 50-0, earn a ridiculous sum of money, and retire for good.

He's too calculated to come back if he knew he was slipping to the point he might lose / get hurt, so he knows he's still got the goods. His last few performances have proved he's still one of the very top fighters in the sport, and still the very best defensively for my money even at 39.

I'd put Kovalev, Ward & Golovkin above him P4P at this stage of his career (only because of Mayweather's advanced age), but as he's not in their weight categories it's not an issue for him. He'll handle Manny or Canelo comfortably again and Garcia would be a near shutout.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure I would put anyone above him even with his age. Tough one, he still looked very very sharp to my eyes versus Manny last time out...

He picks his poison and picks it well.

It certainly won't be DSG that will be the one making him regret his comeback. That's for sure.

There is literally no way he loses. He will not fight someone he can lose against.

He won't come back for a tough fight, that's why he wants Connor he can easily win in a boxing match and get paid a insane purse.

Most great fighters have damaged their rep or legacy by staying around too long so odds are Floyd will too if he's isn't retired for good as of Berto.

I mean think about how we'd be talking about RJJ right now if he'd have retired after winning the HW title. RJJ would be top 5 atg in the knuckleheads opinions who track atg silliness.

Regretting is a whole other story doe. I imagine RJJ doesn't regret still fighting nor would very many great fighters who damaged their reps & legacy's. Or if they did regret it they'd only regret that one last fight that really got them & not the 3 before that when they were looking ****ty or just not as great as they used to but were still winning so it was all good.
