    Spending camp losing weight vs. Actual Boxing Training.

    If you have two fighters.

    One starts the training camp in shape, he then spends 8 weeks working on his strategy and working on his flaws.

    The other is busy trying to lose 10,15 maybe 20lbs of fat in those 8 weeks, which obviously requires lots of cardio, which is very tiring, and then has to fit in actually doing proper boxing training, drills, etc.

    If both fighters have relatively the same boxing ability, 9/10 of times, the fighter who spent more time working on his skills will beat the fighter that was busy trying to lose weight in camp.

    Which is why the top P4P fighters are always in the gym and in shape.. such as Ward, Mayweather, Gonzalez etc.

    Which is why Tyson Fury will lose to Klitscho in July

    Usually this argument is very true. But you forgot to factor in age and erosion of skill in the case of Klitschko-Fury. No doubt the Wlad of 5 years ago would have stopped Fury. But he's become easier to time and therefore more tentative in his attack. And this is a guy who was already tentative and methodical in the first place.

      Except Fury is naturally the fresher man and at this stage possesses the superior skillset and boxing brain. So not really comparable.

                A serious pro boxer should always stay within 10 pounds or so of their fighting weight but many of them don't. Khan and Bradley for instance get fight between fights while GGG, Pacquiao and Mayweather never do. Part of it is metabolism and some guys just don't get fat no matter what they eat within reason. With others it's a matter of discipline and not eating like a pig and letting the pounds creep slowly higher.
