    Best Record of All Time

It has to be Sugar Ray Robinson's or Rocky Marcianno

As far as I'm concerned there are 5 guys with incredible records and they are:

Ray Robinson (best fighter ever with the best all around record)

Ali (strength of opposition and performances)

Chavez (unbeaten streak and win/loss ratio)

    Marciano (undefeated)

Moore (wins/KO's will never again be touched)

I agree completely. Floyd will go down as the best fighter of my generation, whether people accept him now or not. Maybe he will have to beat Gatti to a pulp for that recognition. Either way, Mayweather cannot be contained.

chavez is probably the most worthy of all of those records, back in the days of Marciano he would just fight semi-pro guys in bar rings, and call it a win with a rd 1 ko. the more modern fighters definately face fiercer competition

Dude you really can't be seriouslly bagging on the fighters from the throwback years like that! You cannot compare the fighters from nowadays to them, like Floyd, yes he's a really good fighter with all the potential in the world but he fights far to infrequently and his competition level needs to get back to where it was when he fought at 130.

As far as Rocky Marciano fighting mostly club fighters I have a hard time calling (Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles x2, Jersey Joe Walcottx2, Rex Layne, Roland Lastarza, and albeit an old Joe Louis but still Joe Louis) club fighters!
and that's not even counting Don ****ell, or Harry Matthews! So I'd say that Floyd maybe really good could be really great but shouldn't be put anywhere near this class of fighters such as: Ali, A. Moore, Suger Ray Robinson, Rocky Marciano, Julio Ceasar Chavez, Joe Louis, even Larry Holmes, and George Foreman if going by records!

Robinson. I mean, Marcaino was great for going undefeated and all, but Robinson just fought way more fights and racked up a huge record. I'd have to give him more propes.
