This is the WBC own rule book to let you know....now as I said if you don't know its 8oz from straw weight to light middleweight you don't know boxing....middleweight to heavyweight is 10oz for every title fight whether it's the IBF,WBA,WBC AND WBO
    Then what was the concession?

Maybe, Hagler wanted the fight with 8 oz gloves. Maybe they actually fought with 12 oz gloves.

But do research on the fight negotiations and post articles covering the negotiations, you'll find that in exchange for more money, Hagler conceded to glove, rounds and ring size.

Why would all these journalists acknowledge that there was an agreement for the glove size and why would SRL give money to Hagler just to be compensated for glove size if this demand was always a part of the rules?

Does this make any sense to you?

GGG never said he would fight Ward in Ward's current division and then drop back down to below 160. Never happened! And if GGG DOES agree, it would be future or present tense, not anything he said because he has not indicated such since the day Floyd made the demand. You don't understand SYNTAX and TIMELINES.
      Sure man.

We can talk all day about this. Fact of the matter is, unless GGG fights Ward, however he decides to do it, there's no Mayweather fight. Simple as that. That's just the facts of the matter.

I've given countless ways for it to happen. It's not impossible.

If you want to kill yourself over the possibility of it happening or the thought of it, then be my guest.

So you're saying Floyd was in upper 150ies vs Marquez?

Tarver top p4p didn't sound right and sure enough he wasnt even Ring top 10 in 2 years.

So what's the catch? How did Hagler agree to something that was already a part of the rules?

Why did SRL give Hagler all the money, only for SRL to request something that was already set in the rules? You make no sense.
The point I'm making is both haglers fights before with hearns and mugabi were both 12 rounds and they were for the WBC world title....hagler may have conceded 3 rounds but then then it would not have been for a world title that's my point.....and the gloves are 10oz all leoanrd asked for was that the gloves were the tabbed variety ..they were not thumbless but they were attached to the glove to avoid thumbs going in the eye...that's because the detched retina he had.....u tried to make it sound like leoanrd had an advantage no he didn't...there was 2 fighters in that ring each with the same 10poz gloves on and the rounds were the same as hagler vs hearns & mugabi..hagler never complained about the mugabi or hearns fight because he won ...but when he lost to leonard then he complained lol....it's a fight I grew up with and know it inside out and alot of stories have grown out that are false and exaggerated .....hagler never asked for rematch it's bull**** ....he pretty much lost the plot and moved to Italy...he also hit the bottle and ******* and that's why his wife divirced him because it became violent

Yes, Floyd outweighed Marquez by 10 lbs. How can you disagree with this?

So you're saying GGG can't fight Ward because he's too good to give a weight advantage too?

You GGG fans make me want to throw up. I literally mean that. You guys disgust me.

This is why other fan bases utterly hate you guys and GGG gets so much slack.

It's not because he's a bad fighter, it's because you guys a cowards. What's sad is you're not the ones getting hit. You're cowards for someone else

Not glove size ..just type of glove that was it...the tabbed variety....10oz is standard ..if you go to YouTube watch the hagler leonard fight 1st round...tim Ryan looks up and says it...there the tabbed variety ....you only have to look at the gloves there wearing to see there no bigger than they was with hagler vs hearns....some information is not always right on there trust me

Floyd has never been in the upper 150s thats just pure BS , the boys sure like speculation and exaggeration when it suits the agenda .

You keep saying that Hagler vs Hearns was 12 rounds. I know this, but that doesn't mean that Hagler vs Leonard had to be 12 rounds also. No, Hagler agreed to 12 rounds. Had they picked, the fight could've been 15 rounds. But you tried to make it seem like this wasn't possible, when it was.

Regarding the gloves, you keep making is seem like Hagler didn't make concessions for the gloves when he did. No matter how you try to cut it, there was an agreement on the gloves and it was SRL that dictated that agreement.

Hagler also conceded to the ring size. Were all MW's fighting in 20x20 rings?

I dunno, a lot of posters here, mostly fellow Ggg haters, will strongly disagree that Floyd was in upper 150ies in any fight.

So if nobody else is doing it then it's an unreasonable expectation, right? You should either adjust yours, or apply it to every other athlete in the sport, starting with Ward
