Danny Garcia - Looking to CA$H Out vs Mayweather

Danny Garcia, after having the opportunity to fight Floyd numerous times in the past 2/3 years, has now finally shown an interest to fight Floyd Mayweather.

Isn't it ironic, that it is the day after the WBC have made Khan the official mandatory to his WBC Title. Garcia and Angel know that Khan will beat them, and won't make the same mistakes again. So now they are looking to cash out against Mayweather.

Because, lets face it. Garcia can only really beat Kell Brook, or at best Shawn Porter, when looking at the Top WW fighters today. If Garcia loses his title to Khan, I don't see a scenario where Garcia wins a 147 title in the near future!

welterweight is wide open. All the top ten guys have like 1-2 wins over top opposition...PERIOD

it wouldnt be a bad hit to his stock to lose to the last great champion in the division. His stock isnt very high anyway to casuals considering the Salka mismatch, and the two close fights with Peterson and Herrera.

even if he lost to Mayweather im sure it wouldnt be a beating and he cashes out and still has a big enough name to get fights with the other guys.

Only fighters id be certain beats him is Thurman and Brook. Both are a little to nimble. Thurman can counter going side to side and backwards. Brook has that 1-2 and he'd probably be behind before he lands the right shots.

everyone else is basically even money imo. Jesse Vargas is decent but basic, Bradley wont happen and the other pbc guys he should beat

Dude, Danny Garcia's already stopped Amir Khan in 4 rounds; I know that you desperately want everyone to forget that that ever happened, but it did, lol.

Danny Garcia seems to have a pretty good grasp of the position that he's in; 32-0, all of 28 years old, two-weight world champion, former 140 kingpin, a bankable draw at the Barclays Center and an emerging draw on both coasts, Puerto Rican born in Philly, a handsome enough guy, etc.

If Floyd is ever going to come back to fight, Danny understands that he's arguably one of the three folks that it makes business sense for Floyd to fight.

Garcia-Khan 2 will happen, Khan will start off boxing nice (as he always does), Khan will get timed (as he always does), and Khan will make a mistake (as he always does) that would leave him taking another beating.
