The general consensus on here and most boxing discussion forums is that GGG ko's Canelo. If that is the case then why the high demand for what is perceived as a mismatch? I never seen such a demand for a fight when one fighter is looked at as having "no chance" by the majority of the fans. FWIW I think Canelo is a live dog in this fight.

They have a great mash of styles making a great potential fight. It's a fight where Canelo could prove himself, or where Golovkin could probably silence a lot of his haters.
I don't think it's perceived as a mismatch, I think it's perceived as an excellent fight. A mismatch is bringing up a glass-chinned welterweight up two weight classes to 155, and fighting him at least 10 - 15lbs heavier on the fight night. A mismatch would be Canelo v Kovalev.
It's actually quite depressing you view the p4p #1 MW fighting the p4p #3 MW as a mismatch.
In my opinion, Canelo puts up a good fight for 3 or 4 rounds, but eventually GGG's incredibly accurate and strong piston-like jab frustrates him, Canelo tries to get into the inside, GGG gets in his big bodyshots, Canelo is out of breath/too hurt and gets TKO'd by the 10th or 11th. It'll be a great fight though, like Froch v Groves.

There is a chance my job may relocate me to Dallas this summer. Not very happy about it but the one plus is this fight may happen in Cowboy stadium this fall or next May. Would be first in line to get some great seats.
