There's a trend now to discuss ppv numbers and who's the a side or b side among fans. As fans why do you care how many ppv buys there were. It might be interesting to see and that's about it. It makes no difference to anyone who's a side. In this regards I'm talking about the canelo/go looking fight. I've seen mentions of who's the bigger ppv star who's the a side. If your working for them fair enough otherwise it should make no difference to anybody. We should be demanding better fights not ppv number's. Mayweather has left a sad legacy behind. He may have been one of the best. But all this ppv talk and a/b side crap is what his legacy will be to future fighters
PPV numbers a/b side who cares ?

Who gives a f#ck & why give a **** what people wanna talk about?
I think all the *****ing about catchweight is silly. If two guys agree to fight at 141.326lbs why f#cking care? But if you dig talking about that **** feel free.Comment

It's only become a topic of discussion after mayweather kept going on and on about. Before that nobody ever talked about it. People mentioning ppv numbers as though they getting a commission every time they bring it upComment

People talk about it because it has a direct effect on how fights are made!
It is much more relevant than the ******ity spouted around here about professional fighters being "scared".
Gone are the days were boxers are just hired guns, who fight in whatever direction that promoters point, while the promoters pocket all the money while fighters end up broke and punch drunk.
So yes boxing IS a business, and HAS ALWAYS BEEN a business, just now the workers are demanding more of the profitsComment

Pacquiao fans care, they brought it up constantly when Floyd offered him $40 million that one time.Comment

Just like all other entertainment businesses. Mayweather berto should that have been ppv. Should that fight have been made. Yeah it's a business but ain't any of our business. It's always been about the money but that's remained between them. Not for fans to argue aboutPeople talk about it because it has a direct effect on how fights are made!

The "a" side always cares about being the a side. It usually man the the one who is the star attraction and hence generally get the biggest share of proceeds. Boxers just want to assure that they get what they deserve. A side talk is just its manifestation.Comment

PPV has been a topic since Tyson, with Oscar being the first guy who really became a mainstream PPV guy. But my main point was if you don't like talking about it or think its a dumb ass topic just don't talk about it. If others do like talking about it who gives a f#ck.
Plenty of people here talk about **** I got zero interest in & think are dumbass things to talk about. I don't say they shouldn't talk about it cuz I don't care about it. Let people talk about what interests them regardless if they are invested in HBO PPV or not.Comment
