Why Boxing Is Bigger Than UFC

That's an unfair comparison, imo; the Super Bowl didn't even start looking like 'The Super Bowl' until 1990, a game that'd been played since the 1960's, for an organization that traces it's origins back to the 1920s.

It took a while, but eventually the NFL got everything settled down, so that now folks can point to the scaling of the Super Bowl being a "no duh" presentation. "marinating" certain fights sucks, but that's part of boxing.

Boxing has been around for longer then football & its still never really got organized. But I still don't believe marinating is a "part of boxing". Its more a part of how promoters maximize their earnings & minimize their risk. And promoters have more power nowadays then they've ever had in boxing & to no ones surprise there is more marinating going on than ever before.
