I'm from the east coast and have never been to texas. Where is the best area to stay to enjoy bars nightlife etc? And do you think the weigh in at a big fight would be in Dallas or near the stadium in Arlington? Its like a half hour difference, right?

I would guess the weigh in would be at the stadium but I'm not sure. I would stay in Lewisville or flowermound probably. There is whatever kind of bar you want to go to within 30 minutes or so. Dallas is a mofo for traffic at times so keep that in mind. In fact if I were you and not familiar with the area I would take a taxi. Red neck heaven is must see in Lewisville and twin peaks is right next to it.
