I said that yesterday, it really isn't tough or brave to fight DSG next, he'll knock you out and you'll really be journeyman/gatekeeper status. Cash out against Cotto instead. Even the Brook fight would be smarter, he could make a lot of money in that fight by taking the bigger cut, fight at Wembley in front of 80k fans. But DSG? He's gonna catch you and you're gonna go down for sure.

With that said i'd love nothing more than to see Khan finally put down for the last time, but will it really be the last we hear from him? Seeing his excuses so far, I think if DSG KO's him and he will blame it on going up to 155 and then dropping to 147. So he blamed weight on the Canelo loss, and he'll blame weight again on the DSG fight. The guy is just a weasel, he'll never admit he's just a B level fighter

I agree. Getting KOd is not helping Khan's resistance, but it's worse than that. Everybody saw him go for that fake jab to the body with both hands. That wasn't training, that was reflex. The code won't be so hard to break now.

Garcia doesn't work the body like Canelo, completely different fighter.

Canelo worked Khans body with 25 body shots, his ribs were visibly bruised, so when Canelo feinted like he was going for the body again, Khan threw that jab out, realized what was happening, tried to pull his hand back in, and Canelo then hit him with a over hand right.

Garcia likes to throw with his opponents, and he'll use the same tactics in the first fight, he'll try to catch Khan in between a exchange, and time him with a hook.

It will be important that Khan limits his flurries to 2's and 3's like he did against Canelo, and also lowers the frequency he throws them at.

However there is a chance Danny might do what Canelo did and work Khans body, but he's not a Canelo style body puncher, doesnt have the hand speed, power to really do what Canelo does to the body.

Danny has been fighting the same way since he beat Khan, he swings that left hook and keeps throwing it, although it seems to land less and less on opponents nowadays

Word on the curb is Garcia vs Broner is happening in August. We'll see.

Garcia has been a two fight a year guy for 3-4 years now doe so this isn't unexpected. He's one of the youngest guys at the top who fights so seldom so this isn't really surprising for him.

I suspect he doesn't have a lot of passion for boxing these days with how he handles things in his "real life". Guy has several businesses & real estate from my understanding which seems like some **** guys much older than he is do. And that sorta thing gets guys less delusional (a trait I deem helpful in boxing for the elites) about boxing & more realistic with their lives & I'd imagine getting hit in the head several times a year starts making less & less sense. I highly suspect Garcia will be a guy who gets out at a younger age & never comes back much like Robert Garcia.

I know Ramadan or whatever it's called will stop the fight from happening until late 2016, Danny can't hide though, Amir can definitely beat Garcia at 147 I would love to see that fight.
