Let's see how Wilder vs Povetkin and Klitschko vs Fury plays out first. There's no guarantee that Wilder and Fury will win their respective fights. I think Wilder beats Povetkin but I'm not sure Fury beats Klitschko again. It's gonna be interesting to see how the division shakes out this year with AJ, Fury, Wilder, Klitschko, Parker, Ortiz, Browne and others.
Is there room for Q4 2016 Holidays after Fury vs Klitschko?
Then we can all focus on 2017 Wilder vs Joshua! Bigger than anything.
If Wilder beats Povetkin (which I doubt), Haymon will make sure he holds onto that belt for as long as possible, meaning they will keep him away from Fury and AJ for as long as they can.
Anyway, people wana see the winner of Fury/Wlad 2 v AJ. Wilder aint a known commodity.
Sure it's possible. It's also possible Wilder or Fury or both of them could lose their next fight. Then a Wilder vs Fury fight wouldn't be nearly as important.
If Wilder wins in May, and Fury wins in July, Fury-Wilder happens at Barclays Center (more likely T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas), on Christmas Eve, on SHOPPV; if Wilder beats Fury, to pick up those other belts, he likely heads home to Alabama and the Legacy Arena (17,500 seats) to face whomever emerges as the WBA mandatory (Ortiz/Ustinov/Browne) in early 2017.
Anthony Joshua, in all likelihood, headlines a same-day show in the UK (aired in the lead-in to the PPV on Showtime; possibly against his mandatory challenger), before "closing out the UK chapter of his run" with a stadium fight against David Haye (assuming his own careful matchmaking holds up) early 2017.
Spring/Summer 2017, you have Joshua headline his first US fight card from Barclays Center in NYC, before building to a fall PPV between between Wilder and Joshua (likely also for T-Mobile Arena)

This is a good assessment. Anybody else feeling how crazy Heavyweight is now 2016-2017. Imo the Heavyweight division is what's good for boxing NOW. I hope the networks do it proper.
There is potential for it, but I think I will be a lil surprised if Fury even fights twice this year. I wouldn't be surprised if he has another 6 or so month layoff after the July rematch with Klitschko. He's clearly not been the most active HW in the world. So while I think its doable, if everyone gets their ducks in a row, I just wouldn't bet any money on it.
