Canelo fans dont understand how privileged he has been in this sport. Even before he took on any tough fights he was already a superstar due to his looks and nationality. He could pretty mich pick and choose who he wanted to fight and at what stage in his career.

Guys like JRock havent had that. He has to force his way into a mainstream which doesnt want to let him in. Not that he is that bad off being under the Haymon banner, but compared to Canelo its almost like they are operating in a different sport

For sure, but this was a business fight for the sake of PPV. Khan has a big fan base and is an accomplished professional fighter with a exciting style.

Well why can't Canelo fight the Charlo twins or Andrade? One of the Charlo twins is just as heavy as Canelo on fight night. All three of those guys stand a great chance to beat Canelo and I bet he would not even knockdown any one of them.
I've been seriously watching J-Rock since his 7th or 8th fight and he has improved tremendously. If he fought Canelo tomorrow he won't be an easy out for Canelo. He damn sure would be a tougher opponent than Angulo, Kirkland, Khan, and Cotto (at this stage of his career). On top of that J-Rock is hungry. He won't fall apart mentally and I would not bet against him to upset Canelo.
Also IMO Canelo did not beat Trout. They robbed Trout. Anytime you have open scoring and Canelo is up 8 rounds to zip after 8, the judges had Canelo winning the fight before it happened. There is no way Canelo was up 8 to zip against Trout. After 8 Canelo was not even ahead in that fight if you're non-bias in scoring that fight. Based on your post I'm sure we disagree but that's fine with me.

IMO The Trout and Lara fights are both fights Canelo should have walked away the loser. I feel judges robbed Trout before the fight started and the judges penalized Lara for his somewhat excessive movement.

Granted Canelo is improving but the matchmakers at GBP are not ******. They are more interested in matching Canelo against fighters that make him look good that they are in matching him against tough opponents to prove
he's good.

Canelo should fight GGG, Charlo bros, J-Rock and Andrade bc he's lb 4 lb fighter and a supposed tough Mexican fighter like JCC Sr. I don't want to hear excuses like they are not well-known enough, this that or the other. Let his manager do that. Fans should want to se the best fights!

I'm a big fan of this fight and of J-Rock, but there's actually alot of truth in this post. J-Rock has been moved frustratingly slow. And while he's been avoided by fighters like Trout & Charlo, he's been matched softer than necessary in the mean time. Edwards loves picking out plodding Hispanics for J-Rocks diet. I was pretty upset with them for trying to get JSK in the ring. But I believes he's still the truth and he was down for fighting Soro & Martirosyn recently.
