Should all powerful punches make a loud **** sound or does it depend on the heavy bag

Here Canelo isnt really making a loud **** on the bag but we all know he hits hard as hell.

Why did Bruce Lee and many boxing trainers say a good punch should make a crack or a **** on the bag? (Not a dull thud)

Since canelo isnt making a crack is he a poor puncher?

It depends on the bag and the gloves as well. With some bags and gloves even a very hard puncher won't make much noise.

I think a good sign is if you can get a **** out of a very quiet bag and gloves. But its hard to tell whether its a quiet bag or if you just aren't as powerful as you think
