So he didn't beat ODLH or Cotto later to be champion at 154 twice?Comment

If you knew Russian enough to be able to understand his interviews in his native languages, you'd know that he's REALLY far from that "nice guy" reputation that he got in States. I think Abel and Loeffler ruining his career and always making him look like a fool with the things they're saying in publicComment

Funny you say that, I sometimes daydream about what I would do if I became ****** rich and unifying the sanctioning bodies into a single governing body is on the top of my list lol. Just buy them all out. One belt per division (less divisions of course too).Comment

I start thinking that Ward is a godsend to GGG haters.
What would they say if there was no Ward?
I guess people have the urge to sh$t on a high achiever.
I've been following boxing for 15 years to me the momentum behind GGG only compares to Valero and Pac when he KOd ODLH and Hatton...
If you change one word, I agree with your post.....

I've been following boxing for 15 years to me the bull****/spin behind GGG only compares to Valero and Pac when he KOd ODLH and Hatton...
I have been following boxing for even longer, and Pacquiao/Golovkin are way out on their own..... I don't think Valero even got close.Comment

You don't think Golovkin can beat Ward. You didn't want that fight to happen. You want GGG to stay in a division where he claims he can't get good fights in. You want to see GGG vs Canelo because you think it's an easier win for Golovkin. GGG's already a B-Side in negotiations with Canelo had he lost to Ward he would still be a B-Side. Had he beat Ward he'd have an argument for a higher split, weight, venue etc. Just say you'd rather GGG take easier fights than challenging ones.
And neither do any of these other clowns.Comment

You would have to pay (buy) the fighters (ALL of the existing champions across the 4 recognized sanctioning bodies), so that they would dump their belts and contractually agree to never represent any other organisation again..... whilst simultaneously initiating a new tournament-based leader-board.
A Hoya/Haymon partnership is likely the only entity who could pull it off.
Mayweather/Haymon wouldn't cut it.
Haymon would need to use Hoya/The Ring.
And it would only work if both parties entered into this agreement solely for the betterment of boxing..... so yea, can't see anything like that happening.
But props for the great idea, they are the cause of all our problems.
The Mayweather/Pacquiao mess would not have happened.
And neither would the Canelo/Golovkin mess.

Golovkin does literally NOTHING better than Ward, except for maybe raw power, which will not help him one little bit in that fight. Golovkin is good, but it comes down to styles.
And aside from being more-skilled and a much better fighter, Ward is bigger/faster/stronger than lil'G..... you guys who think that Golovkin is simply going to waltz through Ward's punches are tripping on creepy man-love.
To tell you the truth, I don't even think that Golovkin has a punchers chance in that fight, because he doesn't one-punch guys, he breaks them down..... what is Golovkin gonna do, get lucky all night long?
I give him no chance.
Ward by WIDE unanimous decision, or late TKO.Comment
