P4P is some silly ass child argument so it doesn't really matter if anyone agrees cuz you can never really be proven right. Even if you're wrong its disputable cuz its only based on the info we currently have so if you lose you just fell off potentially. Doesn't necessarily have to be cuz you didn't deserve to be ranked P4P.

And **** why not Floyd #1 even doe he's retired. Nothing matters with P4P lists. I'm gonna start making a P4P list & put fictional mfers on it. Stevie "Dove Soap" Rodriguez is my new #3 P4P guy. And dead mfers. Abraham Lincoln is my #7 P4P now. Its all fantasyland silliness.

Stylistically they're very different - only real similarity is they're both technically sound and knock MFers out - but yeah - bet HBO wishes they had put the same backing into Kovalev from the start as they did into GGG - and Kovalevs personality is an easier sell than GGGs rather bland, crafted media persona too.

If Floyd returns then he should still rank #1. And I don't even like the racist disrespectful little bastard.
With no Floyd my list goes like this.
#1. GGG in a tie with Chocolatito
          #2. Kovalev
          #3. Canelo
#4. Wilder. Why because he still improving with better opponents.
And Ward a distant 5th or 6th. Inactivity and mostly weak opposition as of late drop his stock in my opinion.

Floyd hasnt fought the best in a long time.

To keep it short, he beat a tough maidana twice , but maidana wasnt top 25 p4p
Floyd beat a popular but shot pac who really didnt deserve to be in the top 10-15 p4p.
And he beat berto who is shot to shht and hadnt won any big fights in his career

Ward hasnt won a signifigant fight in over 3 yrs and was on a long layoff. His last big fight was froch . That dawson. Fight was a sham, he was a dead man walking.you cant give credit for a guy doing what everyone expected to a drained fighter. Your'e not p4p based off of potential . Fact is ward hasnt done squat.

GGG is undefeated and has beat some solid fighters but no p4p top guys or big names.
Fact is he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Once again you dont get ranked based off of potential.

              Gonzalez
              Kovalev
              And rigo are more deserving
