I'm on the fence for this fight. I'd say 50/50. Both have there weakness that have been shown in previous fights. Whoever implements their game plan on the night will win. Could be wrong and Crawford goes through him or vice versa. It's a interesting match up. If I was betting I'd give a slight edge to postol right now because his of his height and reach advantage
Serious question: Does anyone believe Victor Postol has a chance against Crawford?

Postol is tall, long, and skilled. We've never seen Crawford deal with anyone posing the challenges Postol does. And regardless of what you think about Lucas Matthysse, Postol put him down for the 10 count. Clearly he can punch.
When a fighter fights someone better than anyone they have fought before, of course I think that opponent has a chance. And this fight should be looked at as highly competitive and hard to pick by the majority going in.Last edited by bojangles1987; 05-10-2016, 07:57 AM.Comment

I think Postol wins, but I'm worried he gets robbed on the cards. Crawford is overhyped IMO, I don't see the A level talent many see. I think this as his first test against somebody his size who is just as good.Last edited by _original_; 05-10-2016, 03:17 PM.Comment

What about Crawford says Hearns to you? Hearns was very conventional and known for his 1-2 combo. Crawford switches stances throws as many hooks as straights and has no physical likeness.Comment

50-50 here the fact that Postal stopped a guy that has never been stop in Matthysse despite facing the best is impressive. Postal showed great chin in that fight and the ability to control the distance. So he has a very good chance of winning.Comment

It's a close fight and they will both prove in the ring if they are worthy of being the #1 at 140.
Postol will pose a very difficult style for Crawford with his height, reach and power. I expect Crawford to adapt and punish Postol in route to a TKO victory.
That said I have my doubts on Crawford's chin, so if he's packing china I fully expect Postol to take him out.Comment

he does have a shot because he's very technically sound but he will be the underdog for good reasonComment

Basically, this.
How fitting that in the week where we mark the 30th anniversary of those legends' epic a man combining the best of both their styles fights for a world title
