He will go back to HBO and feast on bums for a few years and retire. Nothing will change. Canelo has so much more to lose and that's why the fight only happens on his terms.

Like all his past opponents... lol

Trout: "Canelo will avoid him like the plague...."
Canelo beats him: "Who did Trout beat again?"

Lara: "Canelo will avoid him like the plague...."
Canelo beats him: "Lara didn't even try, he ran all night."

Angulo: "Canelo will avoid him like the plague...."
Canelo beats him: "Canelo waited too long to face him."

Kirkland: "Canelo will avoid him like the plague...."
Canelo beats him: "Kirkland got knocked out by Ishida."

GGG: "Canelo will avoid him like the plague...."
Canelo beats him: "His resume wasn't even good to begin with."

Next flavor of the month: "Canelo will avoid him like the plague...."

And we start the cycle all over again.... Ahahaha!

GGG should offer Canelo a catchweight of 158 and see what happens.

^This. The bandwagon will have its last stop and people will start to question, wait a minute who did he really fight before Canelo, I mean really, who did he fight? ESPN will look ****** for leaving out Canelo in their **** top 25 list and putting untested Golovkin there. They will probably have to do some editing and cover their tracks, remove GGG from there, put Canelo in his place the guy with the better win, and the guy who won head to head. That is hypothetically speaking.

That question is why this fight needs to be made.

If Canelo beats GGG, he most likely will have no choice but to move up a division and retire soon after that. The guy is 34 years old
