    Sick of this ******ation.

Canelo Khan was a 65/35 split in favor of Canelo. Base purses of $2million for Khan, $3.5million for Canelo plus ppv money for both. Khan is earning $10 million in US alone with ppv money.

Khan got such a large split despite being incapable of selling out the arena vs Juan Diaz in his last UK fight and never coming close to being a draw in the US.

Golovkin is clearly a bigger name than Khan so any offer from Canelo should be an equal or bigger split compared to the split Khan got. Otherwise Canelo is clearly low balling GGG and ducking him.

Of course it won't be 90-10.
Depending on how many PPV's Canelo just sold last saturday it will be either 70/30 or 75-25

Khan sold just under 4000 tickets, increasing from his initial allocation of 2500. It was Canelo who wasn't able to sell the Arena out, and that is because TV Azteca in Mexico had him losing 117-112 to Cotto, and that the hispanic community in US believe that he is ducking Golovkin.

TV is where the money is made in boxing in the , not tickets.

The thing you fail to mention is that unlike with Khan a fight with Golovkin could get Canelo seriously hurt. An for that reason Canelo has the right to ask for a 90/10 split. He's the A side and whether you like it or not the new face of boxing. Canelo has become bigger than any belt and at the end of the day even if the WBC strips him he'll still be the lineal Middleweight champion of the world.

He doesn't have to price himself out, there are rules in place for WBC mandatory/unification fights. If it were to go to purse bid for example, it's about 50/50 since GGG is mandatory and a title holder. So knowing that, it would be in Golden Boy's best interest to offer something fair & reasonable to Golovkin. All these clowns who say "90/10" or "85/15" have no idea how the business works. GGG will get a fair deal and they'll take it (no need for a purse bid, assuming there are no catchweight demands of 155 or whatever).

Canelo is not required to give GGG a certain amount. If GGG turns down an offer its on him.

GGG and his fans like to say he just wants the belts. OK, if GGG gets an offer that pays him more than he ever got and he turns it down, then he showed his true colors.

If GGG does to Canelo what Saunders did to GGG, GGG fans better say the exact same things they said about saunders.

Canelo is a good fighter I do not think he will get hurt. However if Canelo and Oscar are so worried about getting hurt his corner can always throw in the towel. No blame will fall on Canelo.

So then Canelo needs to stop being a little pvssy and quit boxing if hes afraid of getting hurt.
