Maybe you thought I was implying the contract was signed already for 160 or something like that idk. To me after all the bs this is a huge remark that Canelo has made. Does it mean I don't think GBP offers GGG a deal at 158lbs or something like that? Nah I fully expect that, but I think with Canelo saying what he said that this fight can actually be made if not with the first offer then with a 2nd or subsequent offer & potentially one of those offers being at 160lbs if that actually is a deal breaker for K2 & GGG.Comment

Who gives a f#ck about his team. His team isn't the quote. His team doesn't change that he said he'd fight GGG at 160. And that is huge & gives GBP less wiggle room & just puts their ass on the line if they don't follow thru with making this fight that is totally makeable for sure now that both fighters have stated 160 is doable.
And again I 100% expect GBP to throw out an offer thats at 157 or 158 first, but if the weight is actually a dealbreaker for K2 & GGG then GBP is gonna have to make the fight at 160 or risk looking bad to virtually everyone in the sport of boxing & lose Canelo's title over something Canelo has stated he's okay with. Thats a dumb f#cking move by GBP.Comment

He did not say that man. Quit being biased about this. If you wanna go with your silly take on his remark than AT WORST he said he's cool with 160 & he implied maybe his team isn't. He didn't say NO I'M NOT FIGHTING AT 160. Quit being silly man. And again the PR disaster GBP is looking at if they don't make this fight is gonna be hilarious if its over the weight that Canelo said he's cool with. Plus GBP is costing Canelo a title & the respect of a whole f#cking country by backing down from the **** he said in the ring + in the post fight presser. I think you are severely undervaluing what Canelo said + the pressure this puts on GBP + the fallout over this fight not happen over an issue with Canelo's "team" with the weight.Comment

I think he does vacate or gets stripped if it comes down to a catchweight. If Im Golovkin I tell Canelo to butt a stump on 155 or even 159. He is the mandatory and you cant force a catchweight on a mandatory. Im fully aware that this will come as a shock to alot of you but money isnt the end all be all. Let Canelo drop his title and watch the backlash, people keep saying Golovkin doesnt have any leverage. If being ****** rich isnt a priority to him and being unified champion is. Well then he has all of the leverage provided the WBC sticks to their rules which I give that a solid 70/30 against.Comment
