    Timing negating speed.

What were some fights where a fighter's timing neutralized his opponent's speed?

        Roidquez...

I hate this cheater but Roidquez against Manny. His timing is some of the best I've ever seen from a fighter. SRL and Floyd are up there as well. Just for the record, Roidquez will not take a 5th fight because he wouldn't be able to cheat. He also knows how smart Manny has become in the ring. He wouldn't lay 3 gloves on him right now and he KNOWS this! He gets Ko'ed.

We can keep posting this, we can keep posting "style make fights" but "PRIDE" makes a hard head and fans just refuse let it sink in they think it is more so about "RACE" "Ethnicity" "Religion" "Countrymen Pride" that win fights Let them keep thinking that but when their favorite fighter continues to come up short in big fights then maybe they will start to listen

Even as fast as Usain Bolt is, if he doesn't get a good jump out the block he could end up losing to Justin Gatlin this summer! So yes even for the fastest man in the world, TIMING CAN BEAT HIS SPEED!

Marco Antonio Barrera vs Prince Naseem Hamed

JMM had Pacquiao Number and gave him problems every time they fought because of TIMING, JMM is a great counter puncher

That is just to name a few but I could really keep going but those are a few good examples. Timing is Speeds Worst Enemy, also when you ONLY DEPEND ON SPEED that is also a serious problem, what happens when you're no longer the fastest guy in the ring anymore?

Just for the record, if marquez did fight pac a 5th time and lost...it'd be more to do with him being 43yrs old and coming off a layoff than anything else.

Only an idiot, Fanboy, or Hater believes what you just said. Roidquez wants NO PART OF MANNY PACQUIAO. PERIOD. Besides, he never won any of their fights, before the 4th fight. Now, why do you think that is? Manny is the better fighter. That's why. He out lands Roidquez 4-5 to 1-2. That's the real story of their rivalry. The first fight was screwed up by the one judge. Do you know that if he didn't miscalculate, that Manny would have an historic 6th Lineal title!? Go somewhere rookie. I've forgotten more about this sport than you've learned.

it's ironic that you say "idiot, fanboy or hater" and then proceed to write what you did. If you weren't any of those things, you'd recognize that their fights were very close and could have gone either way...i personally thought marquez did enough to win all of them, but can't complain about close decisions in close fights. Basically you're saying that pac outlanded marquez 2-3 to 1? That's not what i saw. So a guy who fought pac 4 times is somehow afraid to fight him? He closed that book with a ko, is a rematch really warranted? How could you possibly ignore marquez' age and layoff if they had another rematch? Pac has been active...marquez is old broke down and injured. But you're the guy who knows so much about the sport...right...
