Canelo's camp suggested the 152 catchweight first.

There is an article somewhere here on BoxingScene and they showed it on Mayweather-Canelo All Access

What Mayweather's camp did was take the opportunity.

Spin it all you want. That was a young 22 yo green Canelo.

A young inexperienced lion always loses to an experienced vet.

Yeah an opportunity to cherry pick at the right time before canelo turns into a beast. They got him at a premature time. Smart cherry pick timing by Floyd. Big money fight and odds was still on Floyd's side to tame a young buck.

      # if Floyd was after fair game, since he was fighting a kid. He should have allowed any catch weight. That will legitimize the win, but nope he knew he wanted to gain more advantages over a kid. True story.

Not really. At 152 could barely whale his arms around and throw punches. There's a reason the match occurred at that weight, and there's a reason Canelo is now pushing for all his fights to be at 155.

Lol calling me a kid when your throwing kiddy arguments and lame meme's lmao

You can't have it both ways kiddo. Acting like a kid makes you ******ed. Acting like you don't know what catch weights are for is showing how little knowledge you know about what it is for. Time to accept what it shows.

Floyd won alright. He won fighting a green 22 yo drained kid. Now for what it's worth he won. Cong****!

Probably the best technical and most disciplined fighter on earth along with Andre Ward.

He would have never got hit with the shot that Khan got hit with, Not in a Zillion years.

              So respect man
Most impressing in that fight was how Floyd stood right in front of Canelo all night long and toyed with him. Made him miss shot after shot, all while standing right in front of him. It was humiliating.

If there was no reason then there shouldn't have been a catch weight in the first place.

It was smart calculated cherry pick by Floyd. He knew it was the right time to pluck him. The money was there, canelo was a drained beatable kid.

Floyd is definitely the best cherry picker out there. His timing is always impeccable.

Lol @ all the "canelo was to young" comments. Hes been pro since 15 is what most of you forget, he had plenty of experience by the time he fought floyd. Hes just not on floyds level thats why he lost get over it already.

I'll bet my house at 155 lb veteran canelo kills him.

With preconditions: vada testing not USADA. USADA can make Floyd into the hulk and they won't notice lmao and no Bayless. Hugging games are over.

Floyd takes his craft more seriously than his competition....= floyd has an unfair advantage.

Floyd has to jump around 5 weight classes beating 20 champions and it's somehow Floyds fault.

But the ****tards that walk around 190 lbs like a fat slob **** don't train enough to develope their bodies get a pass at fighting 140lbs.

                      You're a miserable hater.
I will take it easy on you and presume you don't know the full story here. short version, RELOADED hated CWs.

As for Floyd always being in shape, I always said that was great on his part. Others should do the same. Same goes for someone who does not take care of themselves and then expects to do it in 8 weeks or so.

but that is not the reason for some fighters. Some people just grow out of weight classes that they used to make relatively easier. That is not Floyd's problem BUT .....

For example Canelo. He held titles at 154. He has been struggling with 154 recently but like I said, that is Canelo's problem. On the other hand, when Floyd who got the title at 154 twice demands a CW of 152 then by his own admission, what Floyd was trying to do was remove Canelo's sole advantage by draining him. RELOADED talks differently now about CWs.
