You gotto respect Mayweather for schooling Canelo like he did.

Mayweather was just too good, ultimately.

Two counter punchers and the faster, sharper, more experienced guy had too much. It was a learning experience.

Canelo clearly looked terrible at the weigh in, but it didn't change the game plan or outcome.

      In short..

Canelo was green and drained lol

Right time to cherry pick. A young buck still learning at a young age of 22.

Floyd literally picked up a kid tsk tsk tsk..

Canelo is right there as my favourite fighter, but I'm not going to make excuses.

I do think he'd have done a bit better if it was 154, but it didn't change the outcome. He wasn't able to match Mayweather's speed, ring IQ or figure out his defence and that was what it came down to.

If they were to rematch now, I'd lean towards Canelo. Mayweather has clearly declined and Canelo has made big improvements.

Didn't think he was drained. Seemed to have successfully shrunk down. But with no massive weight advantage nor the skills, he got schooled badly.

I would have been a lot more impressed if there was some hurting going on. There's a reason MMA has gained such popularity over the years. You want to see skill...but violence too!

not at all. This fight might as well be put down as a no contest. he fought a drained Canelo. it's the Mayweather formula. Put everything in his favour and if he gets the win, it means he would have won without the advantage. He gets credit for the 152 Canelo not the Canelo at his comfortable weight.

If ever I even said that, I probably would have thought there was no catch weight kiddo.

                    He looked pretty bad, man.

It wasn't the ultimate deciding factor, but he looked like crap down at the weight.

Canelos punch output was higher against Floyd that any other fight , explain how a drained fighter did that ?

His output was higher , he was snappy the entire fight and he never gassed in the last 4 rounds like he usually does , explain that ?

All easy to prove , you boys think all CWs are drained , the fight tells you if a guy is hurt by weight ,it shows in output , stamina , resistance and strength all elements that diminish at different rates the lower weight you go , its not an automatic draining because of a CW , you got to look at the fight thats where it will show if they went to far .

Go watch , Oscar vs Manny and Chad Dawson vs Ward and then go watch Canelo vs Floyd and see if you can tell the difference in , output stamina resistance and strength , the drainings will stand out like dog balls , Canelo wasnt drained , he was as light as he could go but he wasnt drained and putting out his career highest output proves it .
