Canelo doesn't cut off the ring to this day. And he's a counterpuncher primarily. Mayweather will easily beat most counterpunchers since that's what he is and he's usually better at it, but still, it's his game. Most heavy hitters that go up against Canelo will lose since they play his game. Canelo played right into Mayweather's game. And yes, he was green, but even now, he doesn't cut off the ring and fights mainly from the outside. He also doesn't jab nearly enough to pose a threat to Mayweather. Stylistically, this one was in the bag before they fought and Mayweather knew it.

Sure, it was a good win, but come on. Mayweather knew exactly what he was doing before ever entering the ring.

The TS wrote schooling instead of draining in the title for some reason.

Floyd schooled Canelo, deal with it! You want to argue that 3 lbs made all the difference, GTFO!

Of course he wasn't "drained", he didn't even look any physically smaller than he usually does. People making a big deal over three pounds, smh.

Try squeezing out 3 more pounds from your malnourished self. Let's see if that's easy.

Every human being has a margin were in once you crossed that threshold you will feel very unhealthy to reach that point. Canelo's threshold was 155 below that is Draining him. That 3 lbs is huge. It saps you dry.

Try being malnourished like you've haven't been fed in a concentration camp. Then fight the next day. Tell me if its still the same.

Catch weights are there for a reason. Live with it. That wasn't the real deal Canelo that night. Floyd fought a watered down version that night.

Its Floyd and Boxing Scene the home of butt hurt losers , other fighters that manipulated weight every second fight is given a free pass to everything .

So rehydration dont matter, it dont matter one iota to you that Canelo outweighed Floyd on fight night by 17 lbs? That somehow is irrelevant in your eyes?

Where do you guys get that Floyd "schooled" Canelo? It was a close fight. In no way shape or form did Mayweather dominate the fight, not even close. The few times Floyd looked good were the parts where Canelo was gassed tired, and even then Floyd never came close to hurting Canelo. Floyd did what what Floyd does best, he danced around landing a few pot shots here and there just enough to get the win.

Floyd schooled Guerrero, but he did just enough to win and not get knocked out against Canelo.

If there was a Floyd vs Canelo rematch, all Canelo would have to do is pressure Floyd more to get the win since he now knows Floyd has little power and can't hurt him.
