So team Khan make it known that they deserve all the credit moving up, but apparently when being KTFO in particular, Khan and Virgil give no credit to Alvarez's skill. After rounds 1 & 2 Khan knew what was coming..after them body blows... his movement started to lose confidence. Ironically people say Alvarez only fights in spurts and well now...

I like Khan and Virgil tbh, but they stooped a low by crying a river to fight Lil'G even after knowing their purses...

Hunter said what he said because (like all of us) for about like 2 seconds, he thought Khan was ****ing dead, and if you ask yourself, "Why did this matchup even happen?" ... the answer is that a young fighter who's able to cut some weight invented a 155 division to pretend he's not a MW even though he comes into the ring at 170+.

Canelo doesn't want to fight fellow Middleweights, let alone GGG. So they looked for the biggest name at 154 or below. They thought of Khan and dangled a carrot in front of his face: big fight, big $, and massive upside if he could pull it off. Khan immediately jumped at the opportunity even though Virgil Hunter initially told him to decline it because he believed Khan could get hurt against a much naturally larger man. But Khan wanted to give it a go so he went along.

Hunter was almost certainly thinking, how many more Welterweights have to get freaking decapitated because Canelo is afraid to fight someone his own size?
