Lemieux was simply too much too soon for him. He was coming off not only a loss, but an increase in weight and a 1 year layoff.

Bad decision by management. Lemieux is not perfect, but he is a wrecking ball unless you are 100% on your game. Whatever happened to rebuilding a fighter? Giving them a couple winnable fights to let them get their gears oiled again?

Tapia should've retired after Kirkland. I cringe every time he takes a clean punch. I would hate to see him get hurt in there.
