I don't believe Canelo is afraid....I think Oscar is afraid of losing his cash cow....but it looks like the fight will happen....Canelo is the A side and Oscar will probably offer 70/30 split on the money at 160...with a rematch clause at 60/40 in favor of GGG if GGG wins the first fight......GGG will instantly agree....those two fights will make millions for both sides....and money is what it is all about....that is my opinion....

lol how can a mandatory/unification be 85/15? Golden Boy would be forced to give much more than that just based on the WBC rules alone, K2 could easily just force a purse bid which would be close to 50/50. So it's Oscar's best interest to simply provide a fair split that K2/GGG wouldn't be insulted by, it's not like Canelo isn't going to make bank regardless.

I think the rule in boxing is anyone at the elite level would fight each other if left to their own devices. Its all the money, alphabet bs, promoters, networks & other random bs that causes more problems.

Oscar is the one that's afraid...same way he didn't want Canelo to take the Trout or Lara fights...we can only hope Canelo puts his foot down and makes the GGG fight as well...

That's good to hear, no need to fear GGG. Ne!lo underestimates himself he is better than he thinks. He won't disgrace himsekf against GGG.
He is a small middleweight but you don't need to be a middleweight to beat middleweights ie srl and Duran of modern times.
