GGG inherited all of Pacquiao's former fans, casuals, the knockout seekers, the power punching seekers, brawler seekers, and UFC fans that switch between being boxing and MMA fans. This alone was able to grant him a solid fanbase that constantly talk about him and give him media attention.

Canelo inherited Mexican and Mexican American support but that's about it unfortunately. Boxing fans in general have lost the respect that he gained when he beat guys like Lara, Trout, Angulo and so on.

Nah I think your doing a disservice to GGG fans, I wouldn't say I fit any of those stereotypes. I like the way GGG carries himself in and out of the ring, he is respectful and comes across as genuine.

I also like the excitement he brings in his fights, it's not just about power with him, he has the fundamentals down very well. Your underrating his technical ability imo, cutting off the ring is an art form in itself and you can see the that there is thought to everything he does.

All I'm saying is there's a difference between display of skill between guys like Wade and Lemieux compared to more elite fighters that he doesn't appear to want to fight at this time.

Such as who exactly? He already beat Lemieux who is the 4th best middleweight in the world according to ring magazine. The guys above Lemieux (Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs) have been mentioned many times by GGG and his team, they are actively chasing those fights.

133 votes so far, albeit around 15 or so are from alts, majority picking GGG.

Looking to get at least 200. Keep em coming.
