do you guys really think that if alvarez thinks that he has a chance vs GGG he would be fighting khan instead of someone who might actually pose a real challenge?

I hope he wins, but not sure to be honest. Does rooting for Canelo counts in here?

Lol he won the belts, defended them once, now he will probably fight GGG. It's common practice, even with lesser fighters who just win belts. People acting like Canelo vs GGG has been a fight that has been several years in the making. Canelo having to fight Golovkin chants from fans started November 2015 when he beat Cotto. It's been only months and people are going nuts about Canelo ducking GGG for "so long". Fight probably gets signed a month from now.

The longer he stalls the better Canelo's chance is, imo he should try and face him next year, I think they'll wait it out.

That would classify for this thread: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/po...s&pollid=47727

He has the opportunity to fight a popular fighter in a brand new sold out arena on PPV and get paid millions in the process. Did you really think he was gonna turn that down? Do you really think he would have fought some unknown who "poses a real challenge" for more "respect" among boxing fans?
