This fight sucks, tbh.
Lara is not good enough to completely outclass Canelo, like Floyd. And Canelo is not as good/devastating as a come forward fighter, like Golovkin, to cut the ring off and stop/brutalize Lara.
Its like a chess match, with both sides missing the King, so there's no point in continuing the match because neither guy has what is needed to "win." -

No he doesn't. He had his shot at the big times and he failed. Regardless who you thought won the fight, it was a horrible fight to view and it was because of how Lara made it. No action with one guy literally running and single digit punches landed per round and a crowd booing him all night long. Sorry fans don't want to see that. If you on this level and fight like that they need to do like the Apolllo and send a man on stage with a broom to sweep you off stage never to been seen from again.Comment

nah. it was a close fight that canelo pulled out on the strength of his body work. But if you look at it, Lara hasn't done anything since while Canelo has rattled off highlight reel KO's of Khan and Kirkland and a signature win over Cotto. All Lara has done is beat an old never has been in Ishe Smith and a C level fighter in Delvin Rodriguez and a shot blown up weterweight in Zaveck. At least his next fight is a solid 154 pound opponent in Vanes but Lara's lack of quality opposition has been alarming since the Canelo fight.Originally posted by Jc8804 View PostComment
