Lara and Trout both beat Canelo. As much as I like Cotto I was fine with a 116-112 or even 115-113 Canelo over Cotto but Trout, and especially Lara beat Canelo.

. Your exactly right. No doubt you have to be a certain type of boxing fan to appreciate Lara's skillset. Having said that, as boring as that fight was, the end result was Canelo could not time or find Lara at all that night. It wasn't a obvious victory for Lara but he controlled what Canelo did and I think he actually outlanded him in the compubox numbers. He didn't "beat" Canelo per say, but he did enough to "win" the fight.

A rematch is fine based on styles but lara has done nothing since the loss to DESERVE it. Or I should say, not done enough.
