I see what the OP is getting at, but I suppose it would only apply if Canelo beat Angulo down last night.

OP: yes, if Canelo were to have fought Angulo last night and destroyed him in the way Lara couldn't (and obviously not suffered the brutal knockdowns)- then yes, it would of made Lara look better.

The fight with Khan is evidence why Lara ran especially after Canelo busted up his eye. He felt Canelo's power and knew if he didn't run he was going to get put to get KO'd like Khan did. Khan moved but fought in spots and then Canelo timed him after a few rounds and he was taking big shots. Lara never fought in spots because it would open himself up to get countered so he ran once he felt Canelo's power and has no one to blame but himself for losing. He embarrassed himself but I guess in his mind that was better then being put to sleep. How this somehow makes Lara look better

I wouldn't say win easily, could of just as easily got put to sleep if he engaged more gives Canelo more chances to counter him. But we will never know because Lara has no balls and fought in such a coward way that judges and most fans don't appreciate.
