Catchweight Down vs the best at 154 which is Lara or the best at 155 which is Canelo or Move Up and fight Ramirez, Jack, Chavez Jr (if he can make 168), DeGale, Dirrell Brothers, Callum Smith, Bute. 168 not as strong as it was during Ward, Froch ERA but it is more talent at 168 at than it is at 160

You have to GO BE GREAT, Greatness don't come to you! Right now I think K2 and GGG are playing things too safe by trying to get Canelo at 160 instead of going after him even if he has to go down to 155

I think Canelo can go 12 and give him a fight, beat him I don't know but I don't think it be that easy for Golovkin.

Canelo has his issues with certain types of fighters but Golovkin is not that sort of fighter, so I think the styles work alright for Canelo not that he has a major stylistic advantage he just isn't starting off in a hole.

I still favor Golovkin because he is a much more aggressive fighter and will be more active and I think Canelo is much comfortable at his measured pace which Golovkin will not let him just fight at. Plus I think Canelo's trainers aren't any good and they don't push Canelo enough so that he would be prepared to do his thing for 12 hard against a guy like Golovkin.

Canelo becomes target practice for GGG once he gasses.. It would be an epic beatdown

I missed this post. Fair enough. I'm not a biggie on triangle theory's but I think it would be similar to the Lemieux fight seeing as how they are pretty much the same stature. Obviously Canelo is a little more refined than Lemieux but I think ggg will frustrate Canelo to the point where he says **** it and goes for broke. This creating the real excitement in the fight.

That is possible, he could end up getting wrecked on at the end. Canelo is a tough enough dude that it could get pretty ugly.

i think his biggest threat will emerge out of JMW in a few years' time (i think it will be andrade or williams)

i don't think any of the rising MW or SMW talents are special enough to beat golovkin before he significantly deteriorates
