The problem was he couldn't clinch, because Canelo was to big. I only counted 2 clinches in 6 rounds. In one of the clinches Canelo lifted Khan off his feet, which shows you there was no way Khan could get away with clinching
Other than that, his footwork was good, kept Canelo off balance.
This was simply a case of a smaller man facing a prime bigger man with no re-hydration clause, there wasnt much Khan could do.
