To you yanks...Both Pakistan and Kazakhstan are in ASIA and they are ASIAN countries. Meaning both Amir and GGG are Asian by NATIONALITY, or more specifically Pakistani and Kazakh.

It's the same way that someone from Spain and Ukraine are EUROPEAN, yet almost polar opposite in language and somewhat culture.
